Sunday was Palm Sunday and so our auxiliary bishop presided over the 10am Mass. Part of his regalia is a skull cap or zechetto in the color befitting his office, which to me looked like rose pink. I was told that, "We are manly men, it is called magenta!" Oops, what a way to impress someone. (ha, ha)

As I was perusing the district's website, I noticed there was a link entitled: Summer Seminars. Even though I have sufficient hours of professional development, I was curious to see what was being offered. Who knows, there might be a seminar that might appeal to me. Yup, I clicked. Know what Summer Seminars are? SUMMER SCHOOL! I. Kid. You. Not! Pardon my foaming at the mouth but summer school is not a summer seminar, imho.

TAKS: Part deux a.k.a. Intense Boredom
Tuesday, 4-7-09, our little cherubs take the Mathematics assessment; they better pass it on the first administration as it gets harder with the subsequent re-takes. At least Ms. FL feeds us and gives out a 'goody bag' to help us survive the day. It is almost hard to believe that FL was even here at the beginning of this year.
