summer, a time for
icy, sweet watermelon ~
sticky, blissful smiles.
waves crash loudly as
crabs dance along the beach with
careless abandon.
sand castles emerge,
constructed with pail and spade.
look, mom, I did it!
vacation - too short
but the mind photographs these
treasured memories.
