spent...

Teaching:
Rather complex.
The year draws to a close.
I doubt that I was successful.
Good-bye!

(This is an example of 'cinquain' poetry. Five lines in a syllabic pattern: 2-4-6-8-2.)

End of year, end of year, end of year, yaaaaaaay!

This is an example of 'cheerleading' poetry. Repetition of a phrase followed by an exclamationary word.

Exclamationary?

Anyway, thank you for all that you do. Teachers hardly get a tenth of the credit that they richly deserve!

Rob,

You are too funny! When the doldrums set in, I can always count on you to help me rise above the blue funk of despair.

I appreciate the kind words of thanks... They mean more to me than you know.

Aloha,

I LOVE the cartoon. I need to make a huge copy of that and hang it in the teachers' lounge.

I don't know where you dredged up the cartoon. It's amusing, but sadly, altogether too true.
