Personal highlights in 2009:
- Daughter graduated from nursing school and gainfully employed; makes more than mom!
- Got to travel to Boston and NYC this summer ~ best vacation ever!
- New administrator at the helm; nice to be appreciated
- Accepted as a participant in the Teaching American History grant
- Annual mammogram: clear
- Six month oncologist visit: clear and lost 6 pounds
During this decade:
- Employed by district – 10 years Jan. 21, 2010
- Blessed with a grandson: age 7 smart as a whip and not afraid to speak his mind. Doesn’t sound like he is related to anyone I know!!
- Both of my parents died: Mom, 2000; Dad, 2004
- Diagnosed with breast cancer: July 2005 BUT I am a 4 year survivor - God is good!
