It is time to go back to a regular schedule of sleeping, etc. ~ back to work mañana! Two weeks off were great for the most part. Didn’t realize how tired I really am. New year and hopefully a kinder, gentler boss!
Yesterday, (01-03) my brother’s stepdaughter, Shaylin, passed away. She was 29 and leaves behind two little boys, aged 7 & 9. He is taking it really hard as he had gotten quite attached to her. Shaylin will have a full military funeral in Aransas Pass this Thursday.
As a participant in our district’s ‘Teaching American History’ grant, I see that I have two workshops for this month. One will be a follow-up to a DBQ (document-based question) class we had in the fall; the other is on the integration of technology in the classroom. I love to learn new stuff ~ how does one incorporate this in the classroom with only one computer?
My goal is to post a wee bit more frequently ~ I feel that it is an achievable one!
