In less that 24 hours begins a new adventure!
I truly feel that this is going to be an awesome school year just based on the excitement and enthusiasm of my colleagues. There is a positive vibration in the air which hasn’t been around in a long time.
In my last post I neglected to mention that I will be the AVID elective instructor. AVID will be my first class of the day and I can use my ‘professional’ judgment regarding implementation of instruction. Can’t wait! It seems that I will be having additional responsibilities as dept. chair but that’s ok. Our campus assistant principal will be overseeing the department and he seems pleased to be joining us. He actively participated in our curriculum sessions which surprised FL! Speaking of FL, s.o.s. and I’ll leave it at that!
Must toddle off and pack my lunch and get ready for the jarring of nerves (alarm clock). It is nice to be back on a schedule of sorts ~
