tug of war

Arrrgh!

Guess what?? The proverbial rug has been yanked from under me... seems *Teacher X's certification is for 7-12 only. We went through this nonsense last year, if I recall correctly. Anyway, if FL can't get what he wants, Mr. X will REMAIN in 8th. Needless to say I am highly annoyed, pissed, etc. I tried to appeal to FL regarding scores but he said: "I have a plan!" We already know that his 'plan' ain't gonna work...

It's the same plan he had this year which caused me to leave my class for a month, in fact, I was nearly transferred permanently to his room in January.

I find this out AFTER I spent six hours at school on Monday moving to my alleged new classroom. FL's response: "We'll move you back." A snowball has a better chance of surviving Hades ~ I will end up moving myself.

What frosts my cookies is that FL claims to be about the students but actions speak louder than words! He doesn't want to give Teacher X what he wants: 7th grade Texas History. Ain't happening, no way, no how. Teacher X is not suited to teach sixth graders just entering from elementary and putting him in 7th would be the perfect solution. Oh, wait, it's too logical!

This whole state of affairs is just one big ego trip for FL. I am good enough for clean-up duty but not good enough to be in for the entire game.

That is all.

A very crushed butterfly angel!

*Secondary certification in Texas has been grades 6-12 until recently ~ now it's either 4-8 or 8-12. Not sure when Teacher X got his certificate.
